JERUSALEM, ISRAEL -- There was war from the start in Israel. If you drive from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem you will see the rusted out army trucks along side of the road that are still where they stopped at during the 1948 War. They were left there to remind the people of the price the early settlers paid for their freedom. Today we are witnessing something that our country has never been through. Slowly Israel is being forced to give up their lands by President George W. Bushís administration. What started with General Colon Powell is not continued with Condoleezza Rice. On the nightly news you will see Rice on an airplane flying to the Middle-East trying to force Israel to give up another settlement. It was August 17, 2005 and we watched as the Jewish settlers were forced from Gaza. It was shortly after that we experienced the greatest natural disaster in our country, Hurricane Katrina.

I know our nation is going to have revival and I also know that the Bible says that every nation in the world will be against Israel at the end of what we know as the grace period of the church. Respect for Israel will do two things for a country. First it will make a country very wealthy and second it will cause a country to avoid disasters. We have heard a rumor that the President is a Christian. I have been much in favor of his administration when it came to how he is putting the new candidates up for the Supreme Court. When the new judge is approved in January that will make five out of eight judges as Roman Catholics that sit on the court. Abortion on demand will find itís toughest fight with George W. Bush, but on the question of Israel and the future of there land he is no Bible scholar. Maybe if he reads the part in Genesis about the blessings and the curses of Israel, he would think twice before he puts the Secretary of State on another airplane to cheat Israel out of what is theirs. Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

On the morning of June 7th, 1967 just on the outside of the Eastern Gate of Jerusalem, a Jordanian construction company had brought bulldozers to start construction of a new hotel for the tourist trade. They had planned to bulldoze down the Eastern Gate and begin construction on the new hotel. The Jews went to war on that date and by the end of the six days in 1967 the Temple Mount Region was secured by the Jewish Army, in fact the whole Eastern Side of Jerusalem was taken without a shot being fired. No one would ever open that gate until scripture is fulfilled and Jesus comes through it in triumph over the city. Does our President know about this, if you write a letter to the White House you will get a polite return in just a matter of days, but the sad thing about the letter is that it is filed away and he will never read it. He is willing to make a deal with the devil to sell his Jewish brothers out. Iím telling you that every time Condoleezza Rice goes to Israel it is to ad more pressure to Ariel Sharon to abolish another settlement, in fact the settlement in Gaza was built right after the 1967 Six Day War.

Just before the Gaza settlers were forced to move a scripture was written on a wall in the settlement by a crude spray paint. Amos 9:15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God. Also found in the Amos 9 is another scripture with a promise Amos 9:11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the day of old. Now we know that the Jewish people will make an effort to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem. Just a week before we came to the Holy Land in 2001 we heard that the Jewish Tourism Minister Zeevie was shot dead on October 13th on the 8th floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Jerusalem. When we came to Jerusalem the next week our hotel was the Hyatt Regency. In fact we were the first American tourism group to come to the hotel since the shooting of Zeevie. Why were the Palestinians so eager to shoot this man. Zeevie had just dedicated the new Temple Institute building near the Western Wall. The Palestinian people know that the Jews want to rebuild the Temple right on the site of the Dome of the Rock, the second holiness place of the Islamic faith. This Temple Institute represented that rebuilding and Zeevie was looked upon as the person who would lead the way.

In Jerusalem there are several blown up buses put away for safe keeping. The Jews believe that they are sacred places where their people have given up their lives and it would be wrong to destroy these old buses, but the process of blowing these buses up began on September 28, 2000 after Prime Minister Ariel Sharon decided to take a walk up to the Temple Mount where the mosque is now located. Right in the center of that mosque is where the priest used to offer sacrifice in the Holy of Holies. It is believed that it is the place where the ram replaced Isaac as the first sacrifice to the God of Abraham. You see the Arabs know the history of the Jews but they do not want to recognize it. They know that when Prime Minister Sharon walked up to that area it was a signal to all of Judaism that the rebuilding of the temple would soon be at hand. It was from that moment on that the intensity of the bus bombings began to happen in Jerusalem. The blood of women, children and anyone who got in the way of these suicide bombers was spilled.

Last year when the Dead Sea Scrolls came to Mobile there was a complete layout of the Old Temple in Jerusalem where the foundation of that great structure was built by King Herod. It was explained at that time that a large earthquake fault runs under the Al-Oxa Mosque. Not only is there a large feasor under the mosque but through the Mount of Olives. It is conceivable that the Dome of the Rock cold suddenly collapse at the moving of the ground. Already the great mosque has foundational problems and is sinking in some areas. This mosque was built upon the old foundation of the Jewish Temple, but it was not built with the foundational structures of the Temple Mount. Much of what was built on by Herod was the original foundations of the Solomon Temple. One thing to realize is that the scripture in Amos refers to the Tabernacle of David being brought back. The Tabernacle of David was not a temple built of concert or marble but it was still in the likeness of the Temple in the Wilderness. Another distinct feature of the Tabernacle of David. was that it had no veil and the people could see the Holy of Holies area. David learned the secret of the veil as he stationed Levite Priests around the temple that praised God day and night. David ruled 33 years in Jerusalem and 7 years in Hebron. The one lesson he learned above all other lessons was that things had to be done in the manner that God wanted it done. To carry the Ark of the Covenant on a cart was not accepted by God and the death of servant at Obed-edomís house drove David back to the scripture to find out how God wanted the Ark carried. You see the revelation of scripture during this time period taught him the secret of praise and worship, when the Levite Preists were stationed around the Temple area, and were worshipping God there was no need for alarm that the Ark that was seen in public could not do any damage to the average man. In the last days the foundation of the temple is within us and as long as we keep the balance of praise and worship within our hearts we will not be harmed by the last days judgments. Israel at this time wants to build a structure of the temple but that temple is already in place within our hearts. Moses built the first Temple in the Wilderness within a nine month period and today the temple of God is still constructed the same way. A women gestates a baby in the womb for nine months, today the Holy Spirit resides inside of the temple of man, and the secret place of the most high is within the heart of man. He has replaced the heart of stone with a heart of flesh so that the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords can reside there. Yes it will be a Tabernacle of David not a Temple of Solomon nor a Temple of Herod.
