PENSACOLA, FL -- It was the first day back and the kids were ready. Dr. Michael Brown played the drums with the worship band. Brown was emotional when he spoke about the students at the Brownville Revival School of Ministry. "I have been out speaking in different places and when I mention the students I can’t help myself I just began to weep." Brown said that while the students were away for the summer that he carried them in his heart.

More than 1,100 students were on hand and the largest class of new students was the first semester class at the school. Dr. Brown asked for the foreign students to stand and be recognized and more than 31 difference countries were represented. Here are the international students as they were recognized. (Argentina, Polland, Austria, Denmark, France, Switzerland, Germanyk, Italy ,Finlad, England, South Africa, Kenya, Norway, Ferol Islands, India, Brazil, Ganna, Japan, Holland, Ireland, Honduras, Egypt, Republic of China). The oldest student recognized was a two 75 year old students.

Dr. Michael Brown called forth one of the students to show the power of God. Michael Newbauer had a burden to travel and share the Lord with a Teen Challenge Group from Nashville, Tennessee. When they did the scan on his past court records they found 6 outstanding warrents against him. Michael was in shock, "My first impression was that I wanted run, but God touched me that day and gave me the courage to face this situation." Sonny James the chaplin on the pastoral staff at the school of ministry prayed with Michael. "When I got saved over four years ago I had over 20 outstanding warrent for my arrest. I turned myself in when I first got saved. I knew these things were around but I thought God had tucked them in the back. When I applied to do prison ministry I got word that their were still 6 outstanding warrents issued for my arrest. Sonny James gave up his busy schedule to help turn me in. He went to the court house with me. They let me have a court date soon in North Carolina.

It took real courage for Michael to go back to face these six charges. When he got to North Carolina he thought that he was only up against a total of three years prison time for the outstadning warrents. Michael soon found out that the warrents could send him back to prison for 12 years, but God was in his trip. Sonny James and Michael were in it for the long haul. As Michael entered the court room he was asked if he wanted a lawyer and Michael refused. The prosecutor remined him that he was up against 12 years of prison. Michael plead guilty on all charges before the judge and even reminded him that he might be delinquent in his probationary period. After he plead guilty he said this to the judge, "A few years ago I came down here, and I had lost everything that I had. I had smoked $26,000 of rock cocaine in one month. All my life I was destitute and hard up and I went ahead and did what I had to do. Sir four years ago I got on my knees before my judge and asked for His forgiveness, I gave my life to Jesus Christ."

The procesecutor and the judge were taken back at the blunt honesty of the young man and released him with just a mimimun of time to in contact with the local authorities there. The tremendous testimony of Michael Newbauer was an awesome way to welcome back the students. Michael was one student who could not have been in school this year but through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ Michael was released this year to fulfill his mission at the school. Michael spoke about the Brownsville School at the end of his testimony and told the students, "This school isn’t a dating parlor, its not career challenge, this is a place for the called. This is about taking back the Kingdom of God by force."

Dr. Brown announced several speakers that would speak this year in the chapel service. Worship times were scheduled for around the clock at the school during the school year.

Dr. Brown introduced a mission team that had been sent to China as teachers. They were there to teach a second language of English to the Chinese. One of the students that went was Samantha. While they could not directly share he faith but she had a divine encounter with a young girl in an apartment. "One girl in an apartment was very hungry to receive the Baptism in the Holy Ghost. She prayed for her and she received the Holy Ghost and the fulness. It’s all about love they want to see the Jesus that is inside of you."

Rachel was on one of the language teams sent to China. Rachel was asked a personal question by one of her students. "Are you a Christian. I hear Jesus walked on the water and made the blindman see. Isn’t he awesome."

Jeff another member on the team spoke about going into the city in one of the market areas. Jeff said, "The power of prayer moves God. We were praying and lifting up the name of Jesus, shouting the name of Jesus as we began to feel the releaseand the power of God come down on us. No one in the street has ever lifted up the name of Jesus."

In the first three years of an established school of ministry in Pensacola the Brownville Revival School of Ministry has sent missionaries all over the world. The effectiveness of the school and the anointing there is causing things to happen.

With more than 1,100 students repensented this year the adventure of faith is beginning. Many by the end of the school year will have traveled to a foreign country to minister the gospel. The greatest message of revival is the fruit of that experience. Many of the student were people in the pews of the great revival. Many of them have the witness of God on their life and will go out from the school as fully trained ministers to release the power of God and fan the flame of revival.
