PENSACOLA, FL — Lois Gott said that Gideon’s men used broken vessels with shining lights to defeat the enemy, and that’s what God is using today, broken vessels with shining lights.

Lois Gott was touched by the message of a small boy that was told to her by her secretary. She said her secretary was on the way to work when she heard a small voice calling, "Miss". She heard the voice a second time and turned around to see a small boy calling to her. It was the dead of winter with snow falling, the little boy had no shoes on, and no coat to wear. This was in a rough area of the city. The little boy said he was left to roam the steets until his mother got home from work. The young man asked the lady a favor, he asked her for a kiss. With all the legal implications of taking in a young person the secretary kissed the young man and went away with a tremendous burden on her heart.

When the secretary got to work she related the story to Lois Gott. It profoundly touched her in a way that caused her to act. The Lord began to deal with her and spoke to her, "For three years I have kissed you with my presence now its time to kiss the world with my love." Their Sunderland Church had been graced with revival since 1994 and God began to work in the hearts of Ken and Lois Gott to touch their community with the love of God. The Gotts sold their church and began the ministry to the poor in Sunderland. Today they have a larger church by the grace of giving but what was established though the little boy was a burden to touch the community, and a feeding program. More than 1700 women delegates at the Women’s Conference at Brownsville collected $57,000 during the week of third week of January towards this wonderful work of God.
