Evangelist Christ Harvey - Humble, Texas http://www.churches.com/chrisharvey/ Don’t judge me by my cover- Don’t judge me by my face Don’t judge me by the way I dress - Don’t judge me by me pace Don’t judge me by my bank account - Don’t judge me by my house Don’t judge me by the way I drive - Don’t judge me by my spouse Don’t judge me by my solemnness - Don’t judge me by my joy Don’t judge me by my age or race - Don’t judge me by my toys Don’t judge me by the way I eat or drink or sleep or sell Don’t judge me by my last mistake and think I’m bound for hell For you weren’t there in my hard times & you’ve never seen me grow When others would have given up from receiving such a blow So, don’t be quick to judge me until you know me well or within each person dwells a treasure that no one can tell So until you’ve really taken time to understand and listen Don’t put me in your judgment box with parts of me still missing And next time when you’re quick to judge, don’t do it till you care To take a good look at my heart and learn who’s really there For I may have traveled through some joys and pains - you do not know Even if on the cover of my life, it doesn’t really show.
