HEALING VIRTUE IN THE RIVER CITY
ORANGEVALE, CA -- Sometime at the end of February, Lori visited our service. As Pastor Oliver was personally greeting visitors, she shared that her nine year old daughter, Crystal, needed prayer. He instructed her that I would pray for her before the end of the service. Well, we almost all left when she reminded me we were going to pray for Crystal. We found out that Crystal had Sickle Cell Syndrome, which had caused deafness in her right ear. A few of our Young Adults began to intercede with us. I placed my hand over her ear, after a moment I asked if she felt something. With big eyes she answered YES!.
Covering
her left ear, I began to whisper questions and she was able to
hear from the right ear. She later that week was checked; and it
was found by the Doctor that there was no longer any hearing
loss. It was great to see her on Thursday, being baptized in
water. Just after this, there was prayer going on in the service.
I felt the Lord give me a ’Word’ that at first I was
hesitant to share. I told the con-gregation this was going to
sound weird, but I need to share it. I said there was someone in
the service who needs major dental work, and lacked the funds to
get it done. I encouraged them to lay a hand on their mouth and
God would heal them. Don was in that service and had just shared
with me last week that the ‘Word" was for him. He had
told his wife before that service that if God wanted him to be
prayed for, one of the Pastors would call out for someone needing
dental work. When I shared the ‘Word’ he was stunned.
Even though he asked for it, he ended up not coming for prayer
until the next night. After I prayed for Him he was instantly
healed.
Even as I share this; it is overwhelming to me what God has done. Yet, I know He wants to do even more and greater miracles among us. God wants to be glorified and through His glory bless His children. These signs and wonders are going to be a help with bringing in the harvest in these last days. God wants to glorify Himself among the nations!
